Q : Will this copper fixture hold up if i have dogs that like to scratch or chew on objects?
A : The copper finish is fairly hard, but the metal arms are still exposed. Dogs that chew or scratch on hard surfaces could nick or chip the finish over time. If you have aggressive chewers, it’s best to keep the fixture out of reach or use a protective guard around the arms.
Q : How should i clean the copper arms without damaging the finish?
A : After disconnecting power, wipe the arms with a soft, dry cloth. If there’s light grime, dampen the cloth with water, then dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, or household solvents, as they can dull or stain the copper.
Q : Can i install this light in a hallway with heavy foot traffic?
A : Yes, but keep in mind the fixture sits only 11 inches above the floor and spans 30 inches. In a narrow hallway, it could become a trip hazard if people are moving quickly or carrying objects. Position it in a broader hallway or add a small rug to define the space.
Q : Do the edison bulbs shed dust or cause extra cleaning in the living room?
